The act of having sexual knowledge or intercourse by one to another among young men and women on campus is so rampant to extent that it is now appears as a worm. This common phenomenon is doing even more harm than cultism in the campus. This is because of the fact that there is so much liberty on campus.

Thus premarital sex is one of the commonest feature of campus life. The young men and women who mostly constitute the population of our tertiary institutions have made premarital sex so headstrong and wanton that it is now be as louse as squirm on campus. They have given a new definition to the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.

Premarital sex has, in fact, become one of the highest common phenomenon of the tertiary institutions. Many reasons contribute to this, is because of unlimited liberty on campus. This makes morality to be laxed, slacked and loosened. Once more, these are young people at the height of youthful vigour and exuberance, and for whom sex is an exciting adventure.

Indeed, some female students even use sex as a means to an end. They use it to gratify undisciplined lecturers, other members of staff and even their fellow students for one favour or the other. Sure - some even sell sex on campus - they sometimes travel out of campus to big cities where they use their sexuality to make money from wayward men. This is indeed an unfortunate development.

Consequently, many girls have often even face the risk of rudely terminating their dreams through unwanted pregnancies. Some even kill the blessings of God and place their potentials on the line due to this unfortunate development. These young men and women wasting their valuable time, time they should have invested in more valuable activities like reading their books and serving God in the circumstance of premarital sex.

Also, sometimes, these young women may fall into the hand of ritual killers. Many rich men who patronize girls from tertiary institutions sexually are ritual killers. Intercourse with them may ruin the lives of these girls in the long or short run.Once more, the sexuality of campus life-premarital sex, the men and women engaging in this run the risk of contracting the deadly disease through excited momentous of premarital sex.

Thus why young men and women should not be engaged in sexual misbehaviour is that if they are not married, it is immoral and indecent to have a sex. Rudely terminating their dreams through unwanted pregnancies they risk their lives - veneral diseases like AIDS can kill them.

However, to curb this unfortunate development within yourself is that ask God to keep you and give self control. Avoid immoral friends. Be satisfied with your finances. You are still a student. Be patient, when you graduate, you will have access to all the good things of life that money can buy. Avoid pornography. Tell and convince yourself that sex is worth waiting for. Be engrossed in the things of God. This way, your consciousness will be saturated by the fear of the Almighty.
